Here are a few examples of recent high-tech firms we have been proud to partner with: NETSCOUT Diversified provided project management services for construction and relocation into the company's new 175,000sf corporate headquarters in Westford, MA. The work included development of a raw site and construction of a new ground-up facility. Services included development and management of the project budget and schedule as well as oversight of the move planning. DPM facilitated the selection, bidding and coordination of project partner services including the design team, construction services, furniture and installation, and tel/data. The project included a 30,000 square foot state of the art high tech manufacturing facility that included a bus duct power distribution system along with an integrated cable tray network. The data center was serviced with dedicated Liebert units and UPS's. COMVERSE Diversified was retained for the consolidation of over 500 staff, 100,000sf of office space and 10,000sf of computer lab space from Comverse's Andover facility into their Wakefield campus. The scope of work consisted of development and management of the master schedule, contractor selection, construction administration, voice/data coordination, furniture installation management and overall move management. DPM coordinated Telephony hardware labs for five different groups consisting of about 25 systems, each system containing two to eight cabinets and peripherals. DPM successfully met the challenge to use a code-compliant method of distributing the low-voltage power to the systems. MRO SOFTWARE MRO Software retained Diversified for the renovation of 110,000sf of office space and relocation of over 300 employees at 100 Crosby Drive in Bedford, MA. DPM's responsibilities included overall project management, design development coordination, general contractor selection and administration, value engineering, voice & data coordination, furniture selection and management and move planning. The construction involved building a Customer Training & Demo Center, which contained high-end audio visual requirements. Diversified acted as MRO's representative from early in the design process through the completion of the punch-list and occupancy. DPM worked diligently with the A/V vendor to design a system that would perform according to MROs requirements without the high price tag. RSA SECURITIES Diversified was retained by RSA to manage the construction of their new (out of the ground) 328,000sf corporate headquarters and to coordinate their relocation into the new space in Bedford, MA. DPM provided master project scheduling, budgeting and overall project management throughout the planning, design and construction process. In addition to office space, the project involved a 25,000 square foot electronic manufacturing operation to include robotics and electronic assembly. The data center occupied 4,500 sf and had both UPS power, redundant communications sources as well as emergency generator backup to the servers, PBX and HVAC system. The move coordination of 500 RSA associates included the generation of a microschedule, weekly move coordination and end user meetings to ensure there were no vendor conflicts and that voice/data cutover dates and move dates remained on schedule. The entire staff relocation was completed over a single weekend. SONUS NETWORKS Diversified provided construction administration and move management for Sonus Networks' relocation to its new 144,000sf corporate headquarters on 250 Apollo Drive in Chelmsford, MA. The project included the relocation of 280 people, their office space, R&D and customer support facilities from two locations on Carlisle Road in Westford and one in Littleton, MA. DPM coordinated the relocation of over 5000sf of voice over IP equipment manufacturing space including benches, servers, ovens and assembly robots. EM4 PHOTONICS DPM was retained to manage the design, construction and relocation for EM4 Photonics 30,000 square foot corporate office, design and specialty manufacturing facility to Bedford, MA. The new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility features, 8,000sf class 10,000sf manufacturing cleanroom, Reliability lab, Telcordia compliance test area, engineering development and prototype labs.
